In 1975 graphic designer and artist Claudia Laub purchased a one-hundred-year-old Chandler & Price letterpress and twenty-five drawers of lead type from a French colleague for $250. The exchange ignited a lifelong love affair with the antique art of letterpress and a whole new career was born.
